About Us and our Courses, Events, and Drop-Ins

Located next to Sunset Glass Gallery, the Sunset Education Center (SEC) is a multifaceted space for cannabis education, creative workshops, and community engagement.

Sunset Education Center is Tucson’s go-to space for cannabis-friendly learning, creativity, and connection.
We offer hands-on classes, community events, and low-key drop-ins designed to meet people where they are—whether you’re exploring cannabis for the first time or deepening your skills in art, wellness, or plant care. From our popular Puff & Paint nights to beginner cultivation courses, trivia, and cactus grafting, there’s always something happening at SEC.

All events are 21+ or 18+ with a valid Arizona medical card. Most programs are beginner-friendly and designed to be welcoming, accessible, and community-driven.

  • Our classes are structured and hands-on, with limited seating and a firm start time. To make sure everyone gets the full experience, we ask guests to arrive on time—and recommend reserving your spot in advance. These fill up quickly!

  • From game tournaments to Puff & Paint nights, our events are more flexible but still benefit from a timely start. We do our best to begin on schedule, but late arrivals are welcome—especially once tournament play opens up or painting is underway. Come ready to play, create, or vibe!

  • Our drop-in sessions are designed for flow and freedom. These include chill experiences like Puff-n-Peace (silent reading) or BYO Craft Nights, where you're welcome to come and go at your own pace. No pressure, no schedule—just good energy in a cannabis-friendly space.
